The Sanford Meisner Center LLC, doing business as The Sanford Meisner Center, explains below how we handle information connected with our website, inquiries, and training services.
Information you provide
When you contact us by email or phone, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, contact details, questions, and information about your acting experience or training interests.
Applications and enrollment communications are handled separately through email and Google Docs. Payments are processed separately through Square. This website does not collect applications or payment-card details.
We use information you provide to respond to inquiries, discuss training opportunities, administer enrollment and classes, and maintain related business records.
Website information
Our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, and access times to deliver and secure the website.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website. When enabled through your cookie choices, Analytics may collect information about page visits, interactions, approximate location, browser, and device type.
Cookies and YouTube videos
Our website uses necessary cookies to remember privacy choices and optional cookies for analytics and embedded YouTube videos.
You can accept or reject optional cookies through the consent banner. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from reading our pages. YouTube videos may remain blocked until you give consent to enable them.
When you enable a YouTube video, Google may receive information about your device and interaction with the video and may use cookies or similar technologies. Depending on your Google account settings, this information may be associated with your account or activity across other services.
For details, see Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from websites that use its services.
Our consent tool is configured to recognize supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. When recognized, these signals can cause optional content to remain blocked and the automatic consent banner to be suppressed.
You can revisit your choices using “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Your browser also provides controls for managing cookies.
Email communications
We may add people who inquire about training to our Mailchimp mailing list to receive information about classes, events, and the Center. You can unsubscribe using the link in those emails or contact us to request removal.
Mailchimp processes mailing-list information and may collect information about email delivery, opens, and link clicks. See Intuit’s Global Privacy Statement.
Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers for website hosting, email, document storage, mailing-list management, analytics, video hosting, and payment processing. These include Google, Mailchimp, and Square.
Square processes payment information under its own privacy notices. See Square’s customer Privacy Notice.
We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.
Retention
We retain information as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining training and business records, meeting legal and accounting obligations, and resolving disputes. Retention depends on the type of information and the reason it was collected.
Your requests
You may contact us to ask about personal information we hold about you, request corrections or deletion, or stop mailing-list communications. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, or other applicable obligations.
For privacy questions or requests, use the email address listed on our Contact page and include “Privacy request” in the subject line.

Our website links to other websites. Their operators handle information under their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information you have provided, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
