Ranjiv Perera

Ranjiv Perera is one of only four teachers mentored by Martin Barter to teach the Meisner Technique. Having first trained as a student under Martin and completing the 2 year traditional program, Ranjiv went on to work in casting under Lisa Essary out of Heidi Levitt’s office. Casting led Ranjiv to discover his desire to not just direct, but guide and teach actors. In 2009, Ranjiv returned to Martin Barter and the Sanford Meisner Center to assist and begin teacher training. Observing and assisting Martin for 5 years gave Ranjiv the deep understanding and skills needed to continue the legacy set by Sandy, and demanded by Martin.
